Apiary Support Eastern Uganda (ASEU)
ASEU in partnership with Dutch Foundation achieves its major objectives through the following services to the peasant farmers, women, families and youth:
Technical support: through focused trainings on how to do bee keeping in a local community.
Financial support: Through the donation of harvesting gears that are given to farmers free of charge.
Processing Capacity: ASEU has set up a state-of-the-art processing unit for honey and other related products at Namayingo Town Council to ease value addition for their members and the community at large.
ASEU also organises farmers associations as a platform for engagement for farmers and also as a means for them to increase their bargaining power at the market place.
ASEU also markets and distributes these farmers honey across Uganda for sale.

Honey comb

Honey wax, also known as beeswax, is a natural substance produced by honeybees. It serves as the building blocks of honeycombs and has numerous practical uses. From candles to cosmetics, beeswax offers a fragrant and sustainable alternative, embodying the essence of nature’s craftsmanship and versatility.
Honey
Honey is filtered and packaged in different sizes of bottles to meet the different needs and sold at an affordable rate. Rich in antioxidants and nutrients, honey transcends culinary delight, embodying a legacy of healing and gastronomic pleasure. Truly, honey remains a testament to the harmonious synergy between nature and humanity.
