ASEU successfully conducted a pilot project of training bee keepers who are Differently Abled (DA) with skills in bee keeping. These included the deaf, blind and lame. Differently Abled beekeepers were divided into groups of 3-4 members with each DA coming with their next of kin who supports him or her in her in their apiaries.
The first 2 trainings were done in Busia where farmers were visited in their homesteads and conducted the trainings from there.
The last 2 trainings were done in Namayingo following the same procedure as of Busia.
