Under the program of empowering young ladies through vocational trainings funded by AFAS Foundation, the ladies in Karuma graduated in skills like tailoring, hairdressing, catering and beekeeping.
After graduation, these ladies are now employed in different work stations while others are running their own businesses.
AFAS Foundation has taken another step of providing these ladies with a loan so that they can start up their own businesses.
On behalf of ASEU, I am now the business coach for these ladies. I am guiding and mentoring them on how to successfully run and develop their businesses into bigger businesses.
