Business training for farmers and business makers was done during this month in Busakila sub county, Mayuge district. Theo Sinke was the main facilitator during this workshop. He was teaching farmers and business makers how to write a plan of action, budget, financial management, among other topics that are very essential for a business maker to know and implement in a business.
Maltina also taught the participants on how to market their products, record keeping among other topics.
We also had a keynote speaker, Fredrick who shared his business experience and knowledge with the participants and motivated them as well.
The course went on for 3 days and on the third day participants received their certificates to show that they had undergone a 3-days training session.
This same training was also done in Jinja at St. Andrew’s church.
During this training, participants underwent a 3-days training session following the same procedure as that of Mayuge.
A keynote speaker, Edith was also present to share and motivate the participants on financial management and also give them motivation on expanding their businesses through acquiring bank loans.
Mr. Piet de Meester was also present in this training, he shared with the participants about this profession and work experience in Uganda and also motivated the participants to do bee keeping.
At the end of the training, the participants received their certificates.
