
242 youth (126 females & 116 males) were successfully placed with 21 bee champions and 4 private sector players as part of a comprehensive work-based learning designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, which offers trainees an opportunity to gain hands on training under the guidance of seasoned industry expert. These actors were selected based on their experience, enterprise capacity, accessibility, and commitment to inclusive youth mentorship. To ensure quality there was ongoing technical backstopping by Project officers and apiary masters to maintain quality and adherence to standards.
Equipment making hosts were responsible including Woodwork basics, Hive design principles, KTB hive construction, Tool handling & safety, Joinery techniques.
