PWD PROGRAM

During the training of PWDs in Namayingo and Busia, we encountered a young man called Cyrus. He was a bee keeper but could only walk on his knees. He did not have legs! It was a very touching moment for Mr. Piet who was conducting the training.

Back home, Mr. Piet decided to raise funds so that he can buy a wheelchair for Cyrus. Indeed, this was eventually fulfilled and Cyrus was able to get a wheelchair of his own.

Another beekeeper called Bwire was also able to get a walking stick. The old he was using had become weak.

The handover of the wheel chair was witnessed by other PWDs who were part of the training at ASEU offices in Namayingo.
